I'm a bit afraid I'd die in a jungle of conversions, but at least I guess I wouldn't have to care about any performance issues anymore Wink | ;)

The DateAdd idea sounds fine, guess I'll try that...

while writing, one big thing makes me think twice D'Oh! | :doh: : The 'time-stamp' is the time-code of a movie, which means that the last byte (frame no.) can be max 24... (--> Bytes 06 00 42 11 written in the file header mean a time-code of 6 hours 0 minutes 42 seconds and then the 11th frame). Would it be even possible to simply add a date? Or would I possibly end up with 58 frames per second...? Let me see, I go for a try...
