When I download code from an article, I've started adding a file called "Origin.txt" which contains the CodeProject URL of the article I got it from.
Would it be possible to add that (or a .URL / .WEBLOC instead) automatically to the ZIP when it's uploaded to CP?
The reason I say that is that I only started creating the file myself when I wanted to recommend an article for the Nth time and couldn't remember where the heck I got it ... Not sure if it would work, can you add a link to the final article before it gets through moderation?
It would make it easier to "track" credits that are due in apps as well.

Hi all
that is the third time it happens.
I try to save and article the server reply the file does not exist and everything is gone
Today I lost 3 hours!
Please fix that bug
(is there any way to recover lost data?)

Perhaps that helps:
Everything started when I uploaded an image, then I decided to delete the old image to load the new one. When I tried to load the new version of the image the page said: that name already exists (shouldn't, I deleted that file.)
So I decided to refresh the page, and before the refresh, I tried to save the page I'm editing and the exception raised.
Then I discovered the 'automatically saved version' and Edited it
I loaded again the new image (with the same name) everything was OK
but when I added the image to the page the old image was displayed
Now I changed the name to the image
but I think this bug should be fixed

I've also noticed that the article editor has problems with deleting an image and then uploading another one with the same name.

Fine for me. However, I have seen similar issues in the past when the page transfer gets interrupted (or somehow corrupted) so the browser cannot lay it out correctly.

No. I rebooted, and it's clear that MF MSFT have installed something. They wanted me to "set up Windows" by making Edge the default browser, letting me answer my phone on my PC, and sign up for an Office 365 trial. Whatever these sphincters did has messed things up. Now there are some icons that I don't see on this site (e.g. "mve" and "mva" instead of the icons).

All normal now. My FF "new tab" page didn't show the usual icons for frequently visited sites, but only GitHub and CP had problems. Other sites were OK, and their proper icons started to reappear as I visited them. Bizarre, though someone who knows more about browsers can likely explain it.

Fastly had some issues earlier, so some of our script and css files were not being served, and the result is what you were seeing.
They seem to have resolve the problem and the site looks good(ish) again.
Also, I am getting notifications from the Cloudflare sales gremlins about switching to a 'better' service, despite being told several times their quotes were 2-3 orders of magnitude to large.

There are several boards out there that are popular that aren't arduino based.
The ESP32 is a popular board, and has the ESP-IDF framework that goes with it.
The STM32 is another popular series of boards, and they have several frameworks associated with them, none of which are Arduino compatible.
I've been marking my ESP32 projects as Arduino and IoT to get them to show up in the right place on the site, but it feels like a bit of a bait and switch when I do it because my project has nothing to do with Arduinos.
It would be really nice if we had categories for at least the ESP32 SoC and ESP-IDF framework that goes with it. I'm not the only one writing articles here for it.

The best way to do this is post articles that have the tag (you have enough rep to add tags to articles and have them be auto-created). Send us a note and we will mark them as part of the IoT hierarchy
