There seems to be a spate of folks double-posting their questions recently, one to C# QA, and a duplicate to C# 4.0 QA.
I assume this is not desirable: please correct me if that assumption is an error.
I think it would be a good idea if the QA FAQ, in the "rules" section, mentioned that a poster should post on one forum at a time.

I have been experiencing slow downs in the forums for some time now which I have directly traced to ads running in flash.
Impacts are usually one of the following
- Long page loads.
- Long time to open message
- Long time to open reply window.
I know this is related to flash because if I start killing flash as soon as I see the problem the problem often disappears. However once it starts I can expect to be required to kill flash for every new page load for some time.
I have experienced this on three different computers (completely different types) with different OS versions and three completely different networks.
And at least one of the networks is quite fast. I do run virus checkers but I was using two different types of those as well.
I can't say that it happens with all of the flash ads. But once it starts happening it seems to happen for a while (could of course be the same ad.)
I have on occasion experienced this on other sites but nothing like I see here. But to be fair I spend more time here than elsewhere.
Might not be anything that is fixable but just noting it as a problem.

I realized that I've been missing a lot of interesting articles because of my filters that I set for Q&A.
What I'm feeling comfortable in answering in the Q&A isn't necessarily the same as which articles I'm interested in reading.
Is it possible to get two sets of filters? One for Q&A and one for article filtering?
Or to put it differently, one filter for learning and one filter for helping.

I tried to complete my logon by clicking update your settings[^] link from top of Rootadmin home page.
There I got the below message.

Like doing following changes myself, by this way we could clear many items from pending queue quickly. 5 approval reports takes long time so if I do the following changes, we could approve items quickly.

And one more thing. In past(1 year ago?) I had a power to delete questions in Q/A section. Using that power, I have deleted more than bunch of duplication questions at that time(Even today I found few reposts). After long time I noticed that I lost that power.

I just wanted to know if we have a HTML code which will show little information about the user in CodeProject.
The information like...
It should be very small version of our CP profile view.
We can add this HTML to our websites or Blog sites to show our CodeProject Activities.
Do we have such thing existing?

Actually, I need it for my upcoming Blog.
I can think of like...
A small box.
-> Left side(CodeProject Logo and Member Pic)
-> Center all the Contribution badges as showing on Profile.
-> Right side will contain all the images for CodeProject Member Types like "MVP" "Professional" etc...
Can we make something similar to this?
