I think it would be great to maintain historic versions (even if the changes are minor). So every time you change the text in some way, you update at least the minor version number.

On the member drop down the items are 'My Articles', 'My Messages' etc. however on the left hand member profile menu, these items are 'Articles Submitted' and 'Messages Posted'. should these not be the same, and preferably follow the 'My' convention.
In addition to this, if i visit my Member Profile, then the Rep Graph and click the FAQ link, followed by;
Messages Posted : Gives me a Latest messages page and a drop down to select a forum.
Articles Submitted : Gives me a blank page with header; "Articles by gunjan dokania ()"

So, if you use cs as the language in your pre tag, the escape character doesn't escape double quotes.
By that I mean that if you write:
arrString[0] = arrString[0].Replace("\"",string.Empty);
or
string test = "something\"" + this + "\"something else"
it treats each double quote as starting or ending the current text section screwing up the coloring.

How feasible would it be to place a user limit on voting? As a real sledge hammer, you could restrict votes IN EITHER DIRECTION to 1 per 1,000 reps per day.
I'm somewhere around 28,000, so I earn 28 votes a day. That forces me to use them wisely and they become more meaningful.
CG can just go Librarian Poo, but I think it's a price worth paying.

That I don't know. Personally, I like the idea of having n votes per user that they can use any way they like.
Another site I used to faff around on had a similar system, but they restricted it that you couldn't vote on a thread you participated in. The idea being that if you psoted, you were involved and because you were involved any vote would be biased.

Slashdot does that, but I don't think that's an option on CP. Just look at the programming forums... If you post a question there, and someone answers, you need to be able to give them a 5. In the lounge, it's pretty common to '5' a post and reply with a thumbs up. Speaking of which...

I don't think that reasonable. All that would do is perpetuate the insidious practice of anonymous univoting. Just because someone has sopted doesn't necessarily mean they will be biased. I often tops in threads that I have no feelings about at all. In fact I am more likely to ptos in threads of that kind.

I don't like this idea because the majority of readers are actually very low rep members. I don't see it as fair to disallow a new member the right to vote on something they really enjoy - what a buzz kill that is to try and award an author and have a "Sorry - you're not special enough" message come up.

That's an easy one to counter. Just don't show the voting option to users who can't vote. You can't miss what you dont know is there and is exactly how we handle the "edit" option elsewhere (ie, if you cant edit a question/answer you dont see the edit link - you dont see it and get a message "sorry you're not special enough to edit).

Don't get me wrong... is there a problem with univoters?
I am not an author, so I can only speak about the forums. Here I don't see a real problem, occasionally I wonder about a low vote but think it's just normal to have one idiot among a crowd. Overall it balances out, right?
