You would need to use a server-side language to update your website's content, such as ASP.NET or PHP, to write a page to do this for you - you could then send the output from your editor to this page and it would update the designated page's content for you.

Hi guys
am actually contemplating on various modes to develop a sip phone integrated in a web browser. the idea is not to download and install any application or plug-in in the system but to simple browse the application and to call the desired destination.
i have seen www.vaxvoip.com which provides handful of information to develop a activeX control for the web browser but this is not the actual central theme.
am looking to develop something like www.flaphone.com previously www.flashphone.ru
please help me in this regard

Well you need to explain to me how a computer is going to run an application that it doesn't have installed because that is beyond my comprehension.

From the Flaphone documentation
No need to install any software (If you already have Adobe Flash Player installed).
Adobe Flash Player IS an application that is REQUIRED for that service to work. So they DO HAVE TO INSTALL something, period, because that's how computers work.
Now let me point out one last thing. You want to develop a VOIP application without understanding fundamental computer technology. That just doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

Hi all,
I have developed my web site using Visual Studio 2008 and Framework 3.5, but the web server where I have registered contains only framwork 2.0, I have created the web site, that interacts with class lib to fetch and store data from and to database. So, my question is if i compail all this class lib in 2008 environemt and reconstruct a new site using the 2005, will all these class lib will work with the new site in 2005 and Framework 2008?
When i tried to convert the project to Framework 2.0 by Right clicking the Project->and changed the Frame work from 3.5 to 2.0 from the drop down, i got more erros with the reversing of List<> ASSEMBLY REFERENCE MISSING, some of the namespace missing errors. How to handel this suitaion and solve the issue with in less time
Else is there any good solution with this, insted of installing Framework 3.5 in server,
Please suggest me

Registered what?
Why did you develop a 3.5 project if you are targeting a 2.0 environment? That was a mistake. Because you made that mistake you now have to deal with the problems you created for yourself.

Yes, these are the problems you created by making the previous mistake and so now you have to change your code to use the .NET 2.0 Base Class Library rather than the .NET 3.5 Base Class Library which contains classes that DO NOT EXIST in the 2.0 Base Class Library.

I presume you mean the web hosting provider only supports .net 2.0. If you have developed the website in .net 2.0 or you should have selected a provider that supports .net 3.5. There are three solutions to this
1) Go over the code and redo it for .net 2.0 compatibility
2) start from scratch in .net 2.0
3) select a service provider who supports 3.5 or install 3.5 if the service provider allows it.

Hi,
I am new to Website development, but quite experienced in CPP. Faith has forced me to have to write several CGI's and ISAPI's. Debugging is a pain though, the way I'm doing it on a small network, and very upsetting for others when it fouls! Is there any software that mimics the 'Browser-Network-Server' Connection on a single terminal.

I don't know about other platforms but on Windows I have browser, IIS and Developer tools (compiler, debugger) all on my Workstation. I can't imagine that for instance on Linux you can't set up a development server and achieve the same on that machine. If you are saying you are debugging on a production system that of course is not advisable.

I have a Browser, I run Apache 2.2. Ofcourse I have a Compiler, etc. I work in Windows XP, Not Linux. Apache runs as a Service. I have set my CGI Directory to point to the Debug Dir for the ISAPI I want to Debug.
Sofar So-Good. I cannot Start a Debugging session from the debugger though, as my code will only be called when the browser hits the server,and decides in its infinite wisdom that my code should be called.
When the server does decide so, it will call it straight, without invoking the debugger. I have tried in the past to invoke an exception, or invoke an int 3 to force a debugging section, with limited success. It typically broke out in un-commented assembler.
Maybe Apache is the wrong server for me. I am trying to write template code for a small website for laundrettes and drycleaners. No Pictures or fancy stuff, just a login procedure, and a few simple HTML Tables representing the billing status. This code is to be shipped with the main software product as an addon, so that my client's c;lients may view their bill on-line. Any Ideas?
