Hi,
i'am looking for a hint how i can create something similiar to the article search on this website.
My goal is to enter a seach string in a textbox and after every keystroke i want the filtered resultset in a listbox.
If possible evterything should be done programatically without a webservice if possible.

From where do you want to search ? Its from web site content or from database ?

generally no web service is required to create search functionality in a website.
Use normal sql to find elements. Code purely based on how the database schema is and how you are going to facilitate the functionality.

i am facing problem related to my asp.net website

when i open this website on Firefox it gives me error
"
Reported Attack Site!
This web site at www.proxdubai.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.etc....."
can any one guide me how to resolve this issue and one more thing when i replace my default.aspx or home.aspx ,first.aspx
whatever my default page is on the server this problem goes aways..
any help would be appriciated.

this might occur if the server is transmitting malicious scripts. Might be your server needs Antivirus.

Rather you can use a Firewall to prevent the attacks in future ...

I am having some problem when trying to re-publish the website.
My website a live and there are millions of user logged-in. I did some changes in our project and again when i am trying to uploading the published page (only updated single .aspx) and all dlls. The session of existing user get lost. as I want to maintain the existing user's session .
Can anyone tell me how I can handle the problem.

If you dont change the Web.config and/or replace dlls this will not happen. I have placed only aspx several times and found no issue.
Have you changed your web.config ?

But i did not make any change in the web.config I am uploading only the dlls and aspx pages. but session expired.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but does storing the session state in SQL get around this problem?

I had a page where i use to display the details of a grid,onto another grid plcaed below it.
Now i have to display the same data(grid below) on a popup page.
How do i open a new popup windows on selected index changing?

Well... why dont u build an html using div that looks like popup and place the grid just there.
You might also consider PopupExtender if you like.

I have two asp list boxes, one is there in content page and
Another one is there in normal page. If I click ok button in normal page,
I want to display items in content page list box from normal page list box. Using java script

Always remember, when the page is rendered in client, it is all the html.
The content page controls are just in the same page as the Masterpage control.
So Access the controls by its id, just similar to what you do in case of normal pages. Use ClientID which represents the client side id. Use like this :
var element = document.getElementById('<%=this.obj.ClientID%>')
