I have developed a webpage.In my webpage I have a button on click of which some complicated data are fetched and it takes some time.But in between this if I move the mouse to some other links on the same page...the request is just lost.Has this problem any solution?

OK at this stage your are processing something. You can show progress using some div and javascript code

Did you click on any link? How is just moving your mouse send you to link? Do you have mouse events handlers on the link?

Hi,
I have a web user control with a gridview.
What I am trying to do is to enable selecting of rows in the gridview.
I add a new simple select command column to the gridview(a simple linkbutton), but when I click on it nothing happens. I set the backColor of the selected row style to be blue in order to check if something changes and I relaized that the gridview doesn't change.
does anybody have any solution to my problem?

a first step to come to a solution might be placing your code.
Do you bind your grid again after you set the value for the row thas is selected?
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

Make xmlHttpRequest object and make the server call. Fetch the value of session variable and send the response back to server.

now i have keep the function name into database k.
i will listing all the function names into the product settings page with check box
User can select more than one function for a particular products, and i keep the function name with product table.
when the Product processing page i will call the function which are selected by the user for a product in the settings page
here pls help me
how is it possible ( i mean how can i call the function dynamically ) Please dont think other than my way.. because it is very important one for me.

u mean on vs2005 IDE?
we can disable HTML validation by
Tools -> options -> Text Editor -> HTML -> validation
uncheck show errors.

my difficulty.I having problem with my smtp server which not sending email, there are no any errors in my code and exeption erro coming even give a message to "sucessfuly sent your email" but email stay in C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue , i do not understan wy it happens. my logfile as bellow for testing.

Hi to all,
I have one doubt for my project.
In my project i want to automatically update the value from DB when the time is 2.00 PM. If I run the priogram in 1.00 PM.Now the DB value is not updated untill the time reached to 2.00 PM..The time is reached 2.00 PM that time the value will be updated....
How to handle this one????
Is there any idea???

I will create one application &
I will run the project only once in 1.00 PM. It runs successfully & not update that value. If the time is reached 2.00PM the application is not run but value is updated.I think Its not used in scheduler....
then How to handle that one???

Hi, I have a crazy problem where when I select any row(call it rowA) in a gridview, and then when I select any different row (call it rowB), rowA dissappears. If I then select another row (rowC), rowB dissappears, and so on. These rows are not in any specific order and it happens with any case. I really want all the rows to stay there! As a temporary hack I am re-binding on every select, and I am pretty sure this causes a performance issue so I really don't want to keep it this way. Is there any way for me to select different rows while by default keeping them all visible?
