Problem with iframe Haim Nachum2-Apr-09 23:17 Haim Nachum 2-Apr-09 23:17  hi. i have a website that contains a div with an iframe in it. the main window have tabs(buttons) by clicking them the iframe src is changed to a page of that tab. for example the "customers" tab is changing the src of the iframe to clients.aspx that contains a table of that customers and a few buttons for insert and delete that fires an ajax action and the table is updated via javascript. the problem is when the user make actions in the iframe like deleting a customer , if he then clicks on the "back" button in the browser the iframe history is fired rather then the main window history. so if he deletes a customer and hit "back" than its like the last action is rolled back and the last record that had been deleted in js is showing up again. Another thing you can do is, turn browser caching off for the pages, then on back button it will be forces to reload from the server. I have a web page ConvertToPDF.aspx. It contains a text box and a button control on it. I’ll type the full path of the file name(let it be C:\krushna.txt) in the text box and hit the button. Then it should convert to krushna.pdf and store in My Document folder automatically. I’m using visual studio 2005. I’ve also Adobe PDF Printer installed in my system and set it as default printer. Also, in the PDF printer the default port is set to My Document\*.pdf Can it be possible with iTextSharp or I need to go for some other method ? Please guide me in this with detail code. Should it be OleDBConnection or SQLConnection? Somewhere I read that SQLCOnnection can give better performance but I think at the sql server there is a SNAC (sql server native access client service) or a Net library which anyway consists of OLEDB and ODBC component. So instead if we use OLEDBConnection, wouldn't it be faster? The next query I have is not related to original question but I request to clear my confusion by letting me know which one is better option to free these objects? The values are filled in the select box dynamically through the database. I want to access the value selected in the select box in the click of the button.
