OK, I have a client side validator function that does the check. I still have problems though. I need to set/clear the error on both FooBar1 and FooBar2 every time the value is changed on either. I've spent about 15m playing around with putting copies of the CustomValidator in the templates for FooBar1/2 and having them validate either the Combobox they're in, or the alternate one without success.

Hi i have searched about report viewer in google...,
I got lot of solutions...,
But nothing is satisfied my requirments...,
So i am just posting here....,
In runtime only i said which query have to execute...,
So based on that its giving the datas...,
So i cant create any object(xsd file) and assign in to my chart control(rdlc component)...,
Then how to create a chart control and my datas in that...,

please anyone give me some idea in such a way as a result i can do in place edit and update row in gridview by ICallBack ajax in asp.net v2.0 becoz i searched lot google for getting some idea to implement gridview in place edit and update.i will be highly obliged if someone give me code snippet or idea to do this.

How can i hide the Query String Variables from the URL?
Example:
www.ABC.com/?ID=invitations -- BAD URL
www.ABC.com/invitations -- GOOD URL

use the session, a table in the db that only holds data long enough for the page to change i.e. one page adds it the next removes it, you could put the whole site in a frameset from the begining so that the user will only see www.abc.com and the frameset redirects to your first page.

for what? i gave you 3 possible solutions, none of which are very difficult to implement, i recomend picking the one you like the best and doing a google search, if i give you code and you just copy and paste it, you wont remember next time. and last i checked this site wasnt in the habit of giving out code unless a solution was rather complicated or at least difficult to explain, or the OP posted some and we were reposting it with our changes. There are examples of using the Session AND framesets on hundreds of sites around the internet.

Hi
I have a webpage with gridview contains a data. the delete button which is outside of gridview. When the user selects the row and clicks on delete button, then the row is deleted. But i want to ask for confirmation to user before deleting the record using javascript.
How can i do this. How can i check whether row has been selected or not using javascript.
Note: The "Delete" button is outside of gridview.
I welcome all type of suggestions

But i need to check whether the record is selected or not in gridview before asking this confirmation. Once the record has been selected, then only i need to ask for confirmation. My problem is how to find whether the record is selected or not in Grid view. I have no checkboxes in gridview. i used selected index in gridview in codebehind.

call this code snippet in page_load, For confirmation

put select button in gridview and work with selected index change event in a page.so whenever u select any row the then selectedindex change event will be fired and then u just put the row no in a viewstate variable.as a result when u click on btnDelete button then btnDelete_click event will be called and from that function u just check that viewstate variable value and if no value or null is there that mean no row is selected or if row no is found in that viewstate variable then remove that record from db by sql and rebind the gridview.i hope this way u can solve ur problem.

Is there anyway you can use a html tag like <pre>,<b> etc in a list box. I know you can use   in the list box with the following method:
ListItem testList = new ListItem(Server.HtmlDecode(" ") + "test");
ListBox1.Items.Add(testList);
This however doesn;t work for HTML tags.
Any help is as always appreciated.

hi all ,
i have used date selector control in my aspx page and when iam clicking on image to popup the control it is not displaying and in last of page iam getting message that error page .
i want that when user click on image a popup will apear from where user can select the date .
here is my java script code for calling date selector .

I wud like to display running time in my page using javascript.For that i ve used the following client side function.
