It's difficult to strike a balance between challenging, too easy , and unsolvable. Epitome is the only word I know meaning perfect example.

I an an eager updater and, you guessed it, I updated to latest VS this morning when I logged in to work....
Little did I know then how big a mistake it was.... 
While it seems fine at home as far as I can tell, at work our humongous 1544 projects solutions is freezing and crashing the thing all too often! Gone is my productivity today!

Turns out, it's possible to sort of revert an update!

I have no solution with 1544 projects - only 381, but I'm using 17.4.0 (preview 1.0) and it seems to be stable...

We had problems too with C++ projects after an update some weeks ago.
My colleague who is specialized in video had to fix some C++ code so it would build again 
As building "historic builds" are important for us, we are now switching to virtual machines for the builder so we can keep a VM backup of the original builder environment.

When you're holding something together until the superglue sets invest in a set of small clamps from the pound / dollar shop ... They are useless for their advertised purpose, but brilliant for holding glue items safely.

The shattered curved surface of a front turn indicator housing, jigsaw puzzle. Extremely difficult to use any of the wide assortment of clamps round the house. Next best option would be sticky tape, which I considered.

Masking tape is better - it's designed to release really easily.

I would have used vinyl electrical tape. Also easy release, has the advantage of being a bit stretchier.

PVC bonds very well with cyanoacrylate glues, so it can be a PITA to remove cleanly if any seeps from the joint. Masking tape is paper based, with a non-setting glue so it's easy to get off (with water if really, really necessary).
