Sorry guys I completly forgot about the CCC - my mother was recently moved into a home and I have some last minute things to attend to like clearing her house - she lived there for 50+ years so you can imagine how much stuff there was - so I've been preoccupied with that - also my alarm ( OG ) didn't go off early enough

Fortunately she hasn't passed yet - the house is clear except for one item - I bought her one of those all singing and dancing electric reclining / helps you in and out of it chairs last year ( ~ £1500 ) which she never even sat on once - it is absolutely like new and I'm loathe to chuck it but I don't have room for it - I'm looking at my options one of which is putting it into storage and trying to sell it, but even that's difficult in these strange times.

I did that for my mother in law last year when she stayed with us, with the same results. Fortunately, we had the room, and now it's mine. Best wishes to you and your family, tough times indeed.

And I've just spent an hour or more cleaning my desk and tidying up cables.
Somehow, it all works ... despite removing four mains leads that I haven't found anything to plug them back into, having to replace the CAT5 between the desktop and router, and evicting more spiders than I want to count. And a Dust Bunny the size of texas. And hoovering the processor heatsink on the desktop CPU which was kinda hard to see was actually a heatsink.
Oh, and as a bonus, I found which fan is noisy - the case one, so I'm not even worried about that given the dust choked processor was still running at 38C but has dropped to 34C after a visit from Mr Hoover.
I'd call that a good day!
