I might be getting my Guineas confused but if I've got them right, at one point their chief export was mercenaries.
Surprising nobody, there was a coup. Gee.
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

Interestingly, guinea pigs were never their export product, because they're not from Guinea, which is not completely surprising since they're in no way related to pigs either

But Daniel is a very common name in multiple languages

Well, if you want the full list, they have 191 place names that start with "Daniel". In addition, there are some villages I know of personally, but do not appear in their database. This also excludes variant spellings. 
Just to make you feel better, Papua New Guinea also has the Rossel Mountains.

Another one on Guadeloupe, an overseas French region, and one on Antarctica.
