My Fellow Computer Scientist:
I need participants for anonymous interviews.
I am performing a study exploring the strategies software developers need to maintain security requirements during agile development processes. I will need to interview 10 participants. Participants must be developers (i.e., software, web, application, full stack, system, etc.) with at least three years of experience and working in any of the agile development processes (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, Crystal, XP, Mixed, Lean, etc.). All participants will remain anonymous, and the interviews will only last 45 to 60 minutes via Skype.
I would appreciate anyone that can participate, or if you can reach out to any friends that may be willing to participate and meet the criteria, send them my way. I want to start interviewing immediately and will schedule interviews around the participant's schedule.
If you can send this out and let everyone know that I am looking for help ASAP, I would appreciate it.

Yes, I am doing an anonymous study, which means your name, location, employment, or any other identifying information will not be included in my dissertation or documentation. You are given an alias such as P1, P2, P3, etc. Anonymity is because the IRB wants us to minimize risks to participants.
My name is John, and I am asking you to email me. I do not want your email address for anything more than contacting you with documentation and scheduling information. I have to contact you to arrange an interview for my study.
I understand your apprehension, but I assure you I am just trying to complete my research so I can get my degree.

 No blisters for me, or lightning either. I just need participant help.
I have been going to school for 10 years straight, on top of homeschooling four boys, working fulltime, working part-time, marriage, and other normal life issues. Now I am finally at the end of my goal, and I have a 5 week deadline to get 10 participants. I am having trouble finding them.

You can put it in the soapbox, along with the questions you want to ask in an interview. Wasting a lot of time talking is not very efficient, and a questionairre in the soapbox would get multiple anonymous answers, including some not-so anonymous.

Unfortunately, I cannot do that as this is for scholarly research, so I have to abide by a school's doctoral board, publication, and IRB constraints. Interviews are required for 45 to 60 minutes with both video and audio recorded. I have not even made it to the final piece, which is analysis yet because it has been hell to get participants. They also will not let me use people I know, which eliminates the developers I know from being able to participate.
