Chris started it last week, and I think it adds a dimension to this.
Black - right letter, right location.
White - right letter, wrong location.
So if my word was "ZEBRAS" (it's not, BTW) and your guess was "BOLLOX" then you'd have "1 White" for the 'B' - right letter, wrong location. If you guessed "ZOFTIG" then you'd have "1 Black" for the 'Z'.

When the weather gets worse, I will take my copy of Jay Miner's[^] first chipset for a spin again. I never had one of the second 16 bit chipsets.
