They make hydraulic dollies that can be operated by one person. The fact that commoners don't have to tools means nothing. A professional thief would invest in the correct equipment. The entire theory behind safes is time to crack. If a thief can take the safe they win. That is why people usually bolt it to concrete or use a lip. If you are comfortable with an 1000lbs safe that is not bolted or otherwise secured then you probably didn't need the safe anyway!
