It's strange, but I've actually been looking at OpenStreetMaps as well over the past day or so.
I've tried to place their maps on my pages using their "normal" api, but at the moment I'm having a wierd problem with DOCTYPE.

HTML page without any DOCTYPE: works brilliantly.
Declare any sort of DOCTYPE: doesn't render D'Oh! | :doh: Dead | X|
