No buy it does give you personal satisfaction.

I agree about iTunes. I installed it because my wife wanted to transfer some music to her iSomething device.
Apple went ahead and installed some other POS software without asking that started giving error messages when the machine would start.
I got rid of the offending software and my wife has yet to use iTunes so I will probably remove it also.

If only iTunes had used the junior version of Salmon, called 'Baked Beans'. It's specially designed for utilities which depend on the main branch.
Spawn-Masters hold a 'toast' meeting, in which the 'beans' projects are poured onto the developers in an even layer.
There is no good reason why iTunes should comprise 150 MB, not even the fact that it restricts your new Beatles album to that one, particular PC for all time. Or an approved Apple thing, unless you use Linux.
It used to be possible to use these thingies with Linux until Apple restricted them to 'ornament' level.

I am afraid this could lead to very bad code smells coming from unused code, uninitialized variables, etc.

In future, start by reading the text on a site before posting: we have forums for various subjects[^], we have a Quick Answers[^] section for any technical query...and we have here, which is clearly marked "if you need specific help please use the programming forums."
Not a good start...

It is so much better to know that there are 10,476,625 10,476,641 10,476,731 10,476,818 than 10.5M mambers members.
Now if I could only figure out something to do with this new found knowledge.

I'll start caring about the numbers once I figure out what "mambers" are.
What is this talk of release? I do not release software. My software escapes leaving a bloody trail of designers and quality assurance people in its wake.
