This: MVC Architecture & its Pipeline[^] - reposted, so it needs re-kicking.
From this: Zain Ul Hassan - Professional Profile[^]
It's been tweaked, but it started life here: Miscellanous Reading ~ codeAddict.com[^]
Search both for "Result filters are executed before" and note how similar the paragraphs are: it's only spaces which prevent the match string being any longer.
Also check out the images on both: in the "new article" he has added a spurious URL to each image (which doesn't resolve to a domain)

There was one message[^], but it doesn't seem to contain any spam.

He's not happy about it: he's started leaving "You son of a bitch" and what I assume is a rude message but Google can't translate it: "keri pako tho thoge wedak balagan.." Autodetect doesn't work, nor does Sinhala or Tamil, the two main languages of Sri Lanka.
I rejected them from moderation.

The small "sdlc" next to the image is a link to a Google image search result, which then links to a YouTube video.

Hi,
How does reporting work?
I reported this article as Spam but when I look at the article page I see a list of 5 other reporters. I also see a Report object in my event list. There were only 3 other reports when I voted.
Best Wishes,

There are two "forms" of reporting: articles, questions, answers, comments, and messages need five reports to kill (except for staff and the moderation queue where it's Head Shot time); while members need ten reports to die (because some people got vindictive and closed accounts when they didn't like posts they made).
So you reported the article, and it came back with the "four votes" - but the article isn't dead, so someone else can also report it, and then it closes. The list of "reporters" doesn't necessarily list all those who reported it, just (up to) five - and which five it reports is in no known sort order: personally I suspect they sort by GUID message ID but that's just a guess.
(More likely it's a "server farm" issue, and the list of reporters is compiled when it closes and the list may not be fully reconciled yet. But that's just boring.)
If your name didn't appear, don't worry - mine often doesn't either!

Yeah, I don't see a pattern here.
OriginalGriff wrote: More likely it's a "server farm" issue
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

I'm not the kind of guy who worries about whether or not my name appears. I have a need to understand how everything works. It's in my nature.
Are all votes weighted equally? Shouldn't 'Protector' votes count as 2 regular user votes?

Randor wrote: Are all votes weighted equally? Shouldn't 'Protector' votes count as 2 regular user votes? Protector badget allows us to do something normal users can't. But in the case of reports account there is binary criteria: Staff / not staff
Which means... head shot or 10 people (no matter status)
About the reporting process... As I understand it:
Two types of reports for the articles / tips / blogs:
- nuke-report (needed amount 5)
- harmless report (no limit)
Object Nuke report:
- The amount of reports will be added in absolute mode.
- The first report sets the "kind of report" and fills the list of "reporters" using the same option
- Once the object is nuked, the list of reporters will be published
That's why it needs 5 reports but still only 2 or 3 reporters only. If not everyone selected the same option, the list will not be full with all 5 reporters.
Object harmless report:
- the need help category.
- the author gets notified about the reports
- It raises a flag to the editors staff and if the user don't correct it, then they do a review.
User accounts:
- all reports are nuke-report and get increased in absolute mode.
- 10 reports needed from non-staff users, no matter if the user has a badge or not or which category it is selected by the report itself.
