If you mean "low level" such as being a beginner, this might be a bit of a task. Assuming that the two databases contain the same schema, you would want to just copy the data tables from the local sql database to the non local data tables while not conflicting with any referential integrity. It is a pretty trivial task if it is planned out and designed carefully.
Synchronizing between databases google search...[^] might be able to shed some light for you.
Wish you the best of luck

thanks for guides with use intelligent service in c# might transfer data from local to server in offline?
there are not methoad to transfer data in offline mode?
with in sql server directly with export data might transfer data to server in offline ?
best regards

How many times can we tell you this? There are NO ways to transfer the data offline other than to copy the data out to storage like a USB drive and physically carry the device to the remote computer, plug it in there, and upload it from there.

He must be a slow learner.... Now that I've read your post, I pretty much rehashed what you said too

Well, I awarded your answer 5 because it clearly showed him how to transfer data.

Now, it is a matter of whether or not he could implement such a tool if he really needs to do offline transfers of data through USB or removable media. I can only imagine the fun in doing version control on the records being transferred between the databases. Time stamping the rows, dealing with locks on both ends, etc.

No! As Pete and Dave have said, you need a network connection of some sort to have the two computer transfer information. Now, I am the THIRD person to say this. What part of it do you not understand?
fatemehsoleimani wrote: sql server directly with export data might transfer data to server in offline
Only way would be through a removable disc media. This would entail writing the local database data to a file, and having some application on the server read this file.

If both your servers are accessible from the same network that you're connected from then you can use sql import/export wizard

Does anyone know what could be wrong here:
Using Odbc to connect to a MySQL database.
Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.2 Driver};Server=[server url];Port=3306;Database=[dbname];User=[usrname];Password=[pwd];Option=3;
I checked the datasource (64 bit, the 32 bit doesn't seem to have a driver) and it looks ok. The only difference is the driver in the Data Sources says: "MySQL ODBC 5.2 Unicode Driver", but I tried that too (and the ANSI version as well).
I always receive the error:
ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
I googled this, but nothing worked so far.
Additionally I tried the OleDb version with this stuff: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/[^], but that doesn't work either with this connection string.
(Provider=MySQL Provider;Data Source=[servername];User ID=[usrname];Password=[pwd];Initial Catalog=[dbname];) The driver is "activated".
The parameters I pass are correct and MySQL Workbench is working as well as the ODBC connection.
The code is pretty robust by know and PostgreSQL ODBC works, so I'm pretty sure it's not the code (although you never know.)
Does anyone have an idea?
thanks!
[SOLUTION]
My mistake, I was under the impression that the provider installed OleDb support, but in fact it installs an entire new provider (MySql provider). When interfaced with that it looks like it's working.

Hello,
I have imported a CSV file into SQL, the wizard has added this as a new table.
I am trying to run a SQL Statement to insert the data from the imported table into the one I need to use in the new data table.
However I am getting the following error.
Collapse | Copy Code
Msg 2627, Level 14, State 1, Line 4
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Customer'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.Customer'. The duplicate key value is (105).
The statement has been terminated.
This is my statement:
Collapse | Copy Code
INSERT INTO dbo.Customer
(custID,lastName,firstName,title,address1,address2,address3,postCode,email,fax)
SELECT ACCOUNT,SURNAME,FORENAMES,TITLE,ADD1,ADD2,ADD3,POSTCODE,EMAIL,FAX
FROM dbo.[NCCUST CSV FORMAT PFS 9.1.14];
Any pointers would be great Smile | :)
Thanks

Well, the error says it all. There are obviously 2 customers with the value 105 in the ACCOUNT field in the 'CSV' table. You need to either remove the Primary key restraint on dbo.customer (not recommended) or remove one of the customers in the 'CSV' table with ACCOUNT 105.
