eventhough i am generating click event only once but the handler is getting execcuted twise. as my code consist expansion and collapse of the information happends for the click event, i am unable to properly expanding or collapsing the display of information (moreover i used a button control and a richtextbox to display information instead of treeview control)please help me.

The one time I saw this happen, I found that I had inadvertantly wired my click handler event in twice. First in InitializeComponents() and later in another piece of my code.

I have not implemented this before But I think this will help you
in Deployment project. if you right click on the tree on the left hand side where there are application folders. you will get the option to add special folders which includes all the folders inside user profile. Create your all the folder structure in there and cut /paste the primary output into that folder and here you go for the required deployment.

Handle the KeyPress event and do something like this:
private void TextBox_KeyPress(object sender, KeyPressEventArgs e)
{
e.Handled = !(char.IsNumeric(e.KeyChar) || char.IsControl(e.KeyChar));
}
In other words, if the character is not numeric or is not a control character then it ignores it.

I'm using VS.NET 2003 and there is no method called IsNumeric. I replace it using IsNumber.

Yes, sorry, it is IsNumber (IsNumeric is a legacy from my VB days )

hi all,
i want to ask a few things about forms.
> first, what should i do to run my applications (windows forms) on any windows platforms? (9x, 2000, me, xp ... etc)
is there something that i have to do ? (or just installing framework is enough ???)
> secondly, what should i do to run my applications (windows forms) regardless of monitor size or screen resolution ???
i use a 17" monitor with 1024*768 screen resolution.
but if i try to run my applications on a 15"-monitor or on a 19"-monitor or even on a 17"-monitor with different screen resolutions, my applications behaves strangely. textboxes or buttons or any other components dont remain where they MUST!
briefly, what should i add to my program so as to make it work on any sized-monitor or with any screen resolution without any placement errors ?
thanks in advance,
bye.

Correct, (but make sure any third-party or non-framework dlls are also installed).

Look into the Anchor and Dock properties of the application. Basically Anchor leaves a fixed distance between the control and the specified sides of the parent. Dock does exactly as it says.
These properties should help you, to mae them run on anysize monitor is just a matter of common sense regarding the sizing.

"I would like a script, please."
Why use a form when you can use media player to do this? If all else use the media player object to play it in your form.

Hi all,
Does framework v 1.1 support emailing using MIME?
|
|
|
|
|
.NET supports quite a few features of a SMTP client.
You will have to check the documentation to see if it supports MIME.
WM.
What about weapons of mass-construction?

You might try this[^] series of books. I currently own the VSTO, databinding with windows forms, and ADO.NET ones. They are excellent references and will help you develop into any part of C# programming you might want to.

Derive from "Button" class and override the method "OnMouseEnter", and write your own code.
