if you have made a proper tables style then for every column there is a property Header text other wise the name of column will appear as header for your view

Yes I know how to set column Headers text.
But propertie RowHeadersVisible for my dataGridView is set to true.
And I want to set for all rows header text.Is this possible?

Hi.
The most easiest way to do it is the following.
dataGridView1.Rows[0].HeaderCell.Value = "Something";
where dataGridView1 refers to the data grid name, and '0' refers to the first row. (the index).

Hello,
I have a small problem with reading and searching for a row in a CSV, delimited textfile.
I would appreciate if somebody could help me out with this application because it is
a hobby project to learn more about files and how to find contents inside them.
Info:
- The textfile has about 7000 records now but it will increase to about 12000 soon.
- Structure is following:
ID, pid, pname, pnotes
* ID-record number
* pid can consists up to 4 different pnames (pid can look like this: A-E6-W2B4PE)
If there are 4 pnames for a pid, it means 4 different rows.
* pname is connected to pid.
* every pname has pnotes, but some of them are blank (no contents) (50% are blank now)
What do I want?

- I want to search for a "pid" and return all data for that pid, such as
ALL pnames, ID and pnotes for it.
- I want to be able to do a search for pnames which could be matched EXACTLY or
PARTIAL and then it returns the pcid connected with that pname and also the pnotes.
Since i am a new programmer in VS .NET and learning C# I would appreciate if somebody
could help me with new ideas and recommendations or even a solution.

if you'll by reading you file by stream method it'll take very much time and would be tought also.
do one thing. make connection By OLEDB. fire query (as you do in database like Orcale,SqlServer) of matching desired criteria.

As far as I can tell, there isn't one. It's a data file that an application uses to play back an animation.

For Example:
In DataGridView I have three column and displaying in DataGridView like this:
TabNamePosition TabName TabText
1 SysParam Admin
2 Dev Developer
3 Job Job
What i want, during run time if I select 3 record and want to reorder the position of reocrds.
Like
I want 3 record in the 1st position and 1st record in the 2nd position and 2nd record in 3rd position.
after finished DataGridView should look like this
TabNamePosition TabName TabText
1 Job Job
2 SysParam Admin
3 Dev Developer
so,How to do

I'm fairly new to C# coding and I am having a problem trying to wrap my mind around the concept of Object Oriented Programming.

there are three big areas in OOP.
1. Incapsulation
2. Inheritence
3. Polymorphism
(I believe  ) You can google for articles on those keywords.
I know it's not a direct answer to your question, but maybe it helps.  Try a beginners book for C#. Wrox or O'Really's always get good reviews, but they are about 50€.
