Outlook is not sending over the SMTP-ports so this don't have to say much.
McAfee might block outgoing mails (search for Port rules or try to deactivate it).

Hi All,
I need to replace words in TEXT BOX of MS WORD, how can I do this?
I tried:
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Application oWordApplic = docxapp;
oWordApplic.ActiveDocument.Content.Find.Execute(ref findtext, ref findmatchcase, ref findmatchwholeword, ref findmatchwildcards, ref findmatchsoundslike, ref findmatchallwordforms, ref findforward, ref findwrap, ref findformat, ref findreplacement, ref findreplace, ref varMissing, ref varMissing, ref varMissing, ref varMissing);
With the above method, I can only replace word in TABLE and DOCUMENT. When I wanted to replace those in textbox in the documents, it failed.
Can you give me a suggestion? Thank in advance.

Thank you for help :
Environment.Exit(1) is working. but what is 1.
Application.Quit() is NOT working. Application is not available.
Thank you.

'1' is the exit code which will be supplied to the the operating system.

Pass 0 to Environment.Exit() if it's a normal exit; use a non-zero value *only* if it's abnormal.

Vikram.

If you are in the Main method you can also use return;

Good Morning everybody,
In console base application when i use Console.Write() or Console.WriteLine(), these writes simple text. Is it possible to write Bold text, underlined text or Italic text?

Not on the console.
You can do it in a Rich textbox in a Winforms app though.

Vikram.

You MIGHT be able to use the following to send ANSI codes for blinking and underlined text. I have not tried this code at all, so I'm not sure if it will work. You might also be required to load ANSI.SYS in your config.sys or config.nt.
Good luck and let us know if that works out.

Hello,
I am a .NET Programmer. I am trying to use Selenium functions and writing a c# code to test the sites. The problem I am facing is with the versions. Below, I am listing various softwares that I am using with their versions. Please let me know where the conflict is occuring and how do I solve it.
Selenium RC 0.9.0
NUnit Framework 2.4.1
Mozilla FireFox 1.5
Visual Studio 2005 (c#.NET 2.0).
I get the error saying "Version 2.0 is not a compatible version".
Same code works fine in Visual Studio 2003 (c#.NET 1.1); the versions of other softwares kept constant.
I feel the problem is with Visual Studio 2005. But if that is the case , how do I test the sites that are developed using Visual Studio 2005?
Help Needed......
Thanks in advance....

The documentation knows it.

What is the best practice, norm, efficient use of variable types as follows:
Decimal vs decimal
Int32 vs int
Single vs float
String vs string
etc.
Does it make any difference.
Thanks in advance,

I'm quite certain that it makes no difference. In the end, i beleive the compiler will make them the same.

They are the same:
decimal is an alias for System.Decimal.
int is an alias for System.Int32.
float is an alias for System.Single.
string is an alias for System.String.
If you want to use Int32 (without specifying System.), you need "using System;" at the top of the file.
In almost every place you can use either form. There are some language specific uses where only the alias is possible to use. For example:
struct BetterBoolean : int { True, False, FileNotFound };
works, but not:
struct BetterBoolean : Int32 { True, False, FileNotFound };
Experience is the sum of all the mistakes you have done.
