Hello, I would like to have the text of the static control printed in red (just for one of them on my dialog). Is it possible to do that without subclassing the control ?
Thanks
|
|
|
|
|
1) Assign an ID to the static control you want to have the red text. (i.e. IDC_REDTEXT_STATIC)
2) Add a handler for OnCtlColor in your dialog.
3) Check for the control ID in OnCtlColor, and update the device context text color to red:
<br />
HBRUSH CMyDlg::OnCtlColor(CDC* pDC, CWnd* pWnd, UINT nCtlColor)<br />
{<br />
HBRUSH hbr = CDialog::OnCtlColor(pDC, pWnd, nCtlColor);<br />
<br />
if (pWnd->GetDlgCtrlID() == IDC_REDTEXT_STATIC)<br />
pDC->SetTextColor(RGB(255,0,0));<br />
<br />
return hbr;<br />
}<br />
Pssst. You see that little light on your monitor? That's actually a government installed spy camera. Smile and wave to big brother!

i would like to know how to progamatically find the process ID for an TCP connection on a WIN2K system. Windows XP uses AllocateAndGetTcpExTableFromStack() for that purpose but this function call is undefined in Win2K.
But programs like tcpview, activeport is able to find the pid in Win2K also...
Does any1 know how to do it?
Thanx in advance...

Hello!
I have got the following problem!
Ich have written a Dll for a Socket Connection. This Dll call a callback function when it receives a Msg over the net.
The function which is called from the dll is a global function in my Testapplication. The global function calls my receive function which only copys the msg in two Membervariablen from the Dialog. These Membervariablen are undefined (Debug shows: ???) and the program crashs.
Global receive function
void gReceiveMsg(CMsg *pMsg)
{
((CSocketTesterApp*)AfxGetApp())->CallbackReceiveMsg(pMsg);
}
function in my application (the values are received correct )
void CSocketTesterApp::CallbackReceiveMsg(CMsg *pMsg)
{
CString sVar = "";
double nVal =0;
pMsg->GetData(&sVar,&nVal);
((CSocketTesterDlg*)AfxGetMainWnd())->ReceiveMsg(sVar,nVal);
}
receive function in my Dialog
void CSocketTesterDlg::ReceiveMsg(CString sVariable, double nValue)
{
m_sRecVariable = sVariable;
m_nRecValue = nValue;
UpdateData(FALSE);
}
The Program crashs after the assignment to the membervariable.
I hope someone can help me!!!

I’m using a CTreeCtrl to display an hierarch structure of a database. Is it possible to allow the user to select multiple items using for e.g. “shift” and “ctrl”?
Thanks / Anders

I don't think it's in the standard CTreeCtrl behaviour; google for CMultiTree it handles multiselection.

Hain Buddy,
This Trick is provided with courtesy From Nishant S
Overide WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGED Message then Use Mr Selvam technique of
this->ShowWindow(SW_HIDE);
or Visit http://www.voidnish.com for more detail about this

What "opening MFC Dialog" are you referring to?

hi,
If u are doing this using Visual C++/MFC ,It is very easy to set Multiple selection to the ListBox.
Go the properties of the added List Box change the selection to 'Multiple'.
That's all.

Like this:
m_listbox.AddString("Item 1");
m_listbox.AddString("Item 2");
...
m_listbox.AddString("Item N");

How many times are you calling this function?

Hello,
I would like to know if anyone can help me out in generating an algorithm which gives alphanumeric characters.
Regards,
Mythri

|
|
|
|
That doesn't make sense...
Give an example of what you want. Do you want a random alphanumeric character? Or does this have to do with Keyboard Input?
|
|
|
|
|
Something like:
char RandomNumber( void )
{
return (rand() % 10) + 48;
}
char RandomUpper( void )
{
return (rand() % 26) + 65;
}
char RandomLower( void )
{
return (rand() % 26) + 97;
}

what is DDK. From whre could i get it.I have to develop a device driver.
pls help
|
|
|
|
|
That would cost you about $200. I don't think the DDK itself is downloadable without a MSDN subscription. The DDK reference however is available for everyone, like the content of the MSDN CDs.
I was also looking for the DDK to make a device driver for a virtual webcam, but I don't have any tools either to make device drivers.
