Set window.location.href = "http://www.google.com/" and try if it opens the google correctly then there may be something wrong with your url.

There is nothing wrong with URL. "keypress" is an event that can be cancelled and can bubble. So you have to pay attention to what value you return from your event handler. I am assuming that you are not returning anything from "CodeCheck()" function.
Try this..
function CodeCheck() {
window.location.href = "http://www.byteblocks.com";
return false;
}
You will need to some more work in keypress even handling to decide cancellation of event.

Hi all,
Has anyone integrated a chat application into a website? If so can you -
- recommend your preferred application
- advise on ones to avoid
- give any advice on platform dependence PHP, ASP, jscript, HTML... does it matter?
Thanks for your help!

Hi there,
when we rewrite url for example,
http://mysite.com/default.aspx?page=hello-world
to something like this -
http://mysite.com/default/page/hello-world
My concern is when somebody bookmarks or directly hits the rewritten URL (http://mysite.com/default/page/hello-world), does that work?
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
Aditya

Use this as a guide for sending email from your ASP.net application (VB.net syntax):
First in your web.config you would need something like this:
<system.net>
<mailSettings>
<smtp>
<network host="yourmailserver@domain.com" port="25" userName="" password=""/>
</smtp>
</mailSettings>
</system.net>
Then use this code in your code-behind:
Imports System.Net.Mail
Dim mm As New MailMessage("FromGuy@me.com", "ToGuy@me.com")
mm.Subject = "This is a test"
mm.Body = msgbody
mm.IsBodyHtml = True
Dim smtp As New SmtpClient
' Send the MailMessage (will use the Web.config settings)
smtp.Send(mm)
|
|
|
|
|
But i am using c# as a language .And yes from the database i want to send the reg.no which will be of 4digits.
thank you for quick response

Is it necessary to use 'Visual Web Development' or can I achieve the same
using Visual Studio.
Is using Cassini service the same as using IIS while developing a tool?

There's a good library called PDF Clown, based on java's iText library, which allows you to produce / manipulate PDF files.
Another option could be to allow your users to print to pdf using software such as CutePDF; either they'd need to install it on their machine, from where they could print to a PDF file in the same way they would a printer, or you could install it on the server side & put code in place to produce the file & present it to the user.
