Hey Devin,
I faced the same problem before. Sometimes this happened when The asp Control is placed outside the tag. Check your code and see if that is the case.
Cheers,

Throw something like javascript:alert(unescape("http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eprintroom%2Ecom%2Fpreview%5Flarge12%2F64249086%5Flt%5F%2Ejpg")) into the address bar and you'll get what you want...

It is in URLEncoded format. Call Javascript unescape("http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eprintroom%2Ecom%2Fpreview%5Flarge12%2F64249086%5Flt%5F%2Ejpg")

Hi to all
My web site stores all the page content(HTML Format stored in a database via a wysiwyg-editor) I am busy developing a technique where if someone (like a admin using the backend) puts in certain keywords Eg. @#ContactControl#@ in the html code(that gets stored on the database)the custom control shows up in the frontend if the string gets recogised by the string processing method. odes anyone have some expert knowledge on how to best use this technique ?
I am thinking a counter for every occurance of @# then to daclare a array of HTMLGenericControls that will be added before and after the control keywords(that will become the control) controls itself.
Eg <p> paragraph before </p>@#Mail#@ <p> paragraph after </p>
Will create 2 HTMLGeneric controls [array] in the codebehind and one mailControl.
then I will add the code to the content panel as follow
panel1.add(genCntr[0]);
panel1.add(mailer);
panel1.add(genCntr[1]);
thanx in advance

My manager asked me "Can we put the web site keywords in the "Super Meta" tags" ?
I did not know how to answer, because i did not hear about something called "Super Meta" tags?
Do anyone know about it ??
|
|
|
|
|
Well, as you probably know, meta tags are used to simulate headers and otherwise provide auxiliary information about a page. One type of meta tag, the keywords tag, looks like this:
<meta name="keywords" content="bacon, eggs, spam, spam, spam, spam"> search engines once used these keywords in categorizing pages, but their use by spammers and SEOs quickly made them nearly useless - today's search engines put little or no value on their content, and may ignore them entirely.
This is where Super meta tags come in. Unlike ordinary Meta tags, Super meta tags go in the body of the HTML document, and look like this:
<h1 class="supermeta">Bacon! Eggs! Useful information regarding weightloss pills!</h1> Obviously, this has a lot more "punch" to it than boring old meta tags, due largely to the use of exclamation points between keywords...

Hello All ,
I red all Google books and i am working in search engines optimization since 3 years, i never heard about the Super meta tags.
The super meta tags depends on what you fill the content of these tags, you can make your meta tags super by filling them in the right way with the right contents, there is nothing called Super Meta Tags in search engines.
what you put here is one of the Google weighting factors, Google gives the text in the bold (headers) more weight than the other normal text.
finally ... meta tags should not be visible to the user, it is just for the crawler and what you put here is visible.
I hope that i am helping programmers

I don't think there is anything like Super Meta. Your manager would have actually emphasized the META tag and given SUPER as an adjective to it.
Your best bet to optimize using META tag is a few SEO (Search Engine Optimization) websites.

What kind of "scripts"? Is it Javascript code that you mean?
Have you tried something simple, like this?
<html><br />
<head><title>title</title></head><br />
<body onload="alert('Hello world!');"><br />
body<br />
</body><br />
</html>

var StopPos = email.lastIndexOf(".");

Message = "Not a valid Email address" ;

else if(Message !="")

mozilla is showing error in line
var email = emailtext.value;
can anyone tell me the proper way to write this line which mozilla supports.

This might be a case-sensitivity issue, since Mozilla is a lot more fussy that IE. Try changing the line to
var email = emailText.value;
To match the name of the textbox

Thanks It is working now..
It was a headache for me in fact.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Your code is totally open for code injection. Anyone can add anything to the querystring, and your code will run it.

Dear Deepak,
First of all thanks alot for your interest at my problem, I have gone through your reply, but I think this is not what I have asked, there is no drag and drop functionality in that treeview, any I will try to utilize that information to build a treeview with drag and drop functionality.
Once again thanks for your reply.
Thanks and Regards,

With div as runat="server", you can use
HtmlGenericControl for DIV.
