Hi.
I need to access data in a text box that's appears on screen and check data that's appears on screen too.
I was trying with screen scraping but i don't now how to access data in text box wen i haven't the text box name and to make a click on a botton.
may be this is no the way even, but I need to simulate a single user on web page, as many programs do with mails for example.
I hope i explained my self.

Quit incertain about what you have explain ?
If i am not wrong then you have a Textbox which don't have any ID and now you want to get text present in that TextBox ,
Are you adding TextBox runtime ?

If you arent adding the textboxes at runtime then give the textbox an ID and use that. Even if you add them at runtime Im sure you can still assign an ID to them then

i neet to set the text in the textbox, then make an enter or click and after that check answers. i have not any ID of these tools.

Give them an ID if they dont have one already.
i.e.

the question is that:
I need to check data in a database, I have access only webpage way.
i need to open the web, access a data, (lets say a primary key or whatever) and check the answer. Again, only web access.

Hello all
I have developed a website and deployed it on client server. To catch i have ihave used try catch block.Whenever there is a error it shows me correct error message on my local machine. I have deployed application on client server and whenever there is any error in application instead of showing me the error it shows me web.config error which is as follow.

In web.config file make sure that CustomErrors's mode is off

yes it is RemoteOnly but it is commented?
It display proper error message me on local buth when i upload on server and page having any error then instead of displaying proper error it displays web.config file error.

mode should be Off instead RemoteOnly
As it is RemoteOnly you are getting Custom error when you are trying to access from local machine but when application is local you are getting proper Error

Ok i try it. Can you tell me what is the use of cutom error tag in web.config file. I am not cleared use about that tag.

CustomErrors is the element present in the Web.Config
Which is used to show filter errors when any Exception occures
you can redirect to any specific page build for showing errors only by using this elemet.
It has mode Attribute which Indicates whether the server channels in this application domain return filtered or complete exception information to local or remote callers. The default is RemoteOnly, which returns complete exception information (including the stack trace) only to callers on the same computer as the server.

Off: All callers receive complete exception information.
On : All callers receive filtered exception information.
RemoteOnly : Local callers receive complete exception information; remote callers receive filtered exception information.

Hi All,

I was using following packages/namespaces in Flash project using ActionsScript3 language.

import mx.messaging.Consumer;
import mx.messaging.MessageAgent;
import mx.messaging.Producer;
import mx.rpc.AbstractService;
import mx.rpc.http.HTTPService;
import mx.rpc.remoting.RemoteObject;
import mx.rpc.soap.WebService;

Now i want to covert my project in to Microsoft Silverlight. Can anybody suggest me which are the alternatives namespaces available in .Net Framework class library for Silverlight.

You may need to do a hand translation of the logic since I don't think at the moment, an automated tool for ActionScript to Silverlight exists.

BTW, there is a dedicated silverlight forum in CodeProject. You may like to query your discussions there on silverlight and also you can request a CP Admin to move this discussion set to Silverlight.

in the gridview , I am doing paging , i have a checkbox column in the gridview , after selecting a checkbox in the row , i am going to another page in the gridview , finally i come back , and see that the row , in which i selected the checkbox , is unchecked.Can i keep that row checkbox selected ?
