If you allow the person to go back, you automatically allow the person to click in any link to another page. You can, of course, prohibit the person to see the other page, as you can check if the person is logged.
And, any type of authentication will help you with this problem.

Hey look, you have asked so many trivial questions that can be answered easily by reading a book or googling for answer. Do yourself a favour and step back and leave that freaking task to other competent people. You have shown no effort in learning, sign off and find your self suitable job that does not require programming.

Because your code is not able to read data from Database and it is giving the timeout exception. Try to debug code , Connection string and Stored procedure.

Are you trying to load huge data to the page? In normal operation the default timeout should be sufficient.
In a particular page, you can temporarily adjust the script time out using
long currentTimeout = Server.ScriptTimeout
Server.ScriptTimeout = NumSeconds
Server.ScriptTimeout = currentTimeout
alternatively you can change your web.config to set longer ScriptTimeout. This can be done at IIS level too.

I think you can set the datasource of a crystal report to a dataset file.
Try googling dataset and crystal report data source.

Create a serializable object. Before the page closes store all the information in that object and store it in Session.
Then you can reference the session object on the parent page. Also, put code in the parent page to set the session object to null when you are finished with it.
I didn't get any requirements for the signature

thanx to reply.
but if multiple child pages are opened then session can be used or not?if yes then how?

you need javascript to capture the closing of window. The DOM has onunload event you can attach a function to
< body onunload="performClosing()" >
Then you need to write js code to do what ever you want.

Jazak-u-llah but can you explain it more.please see my question nce again i shall be very greatefull of you.

you need few things. First off, you need fair amount of javascript code.
I am assuming you know how to open the link in new window. In the new window page
add onunload to your html body tag, so it looks like
<body onunload="performClosing()"></body>
then you will need to write a code for your method
function performClosing()
{
alert('inside performClosing....');
}
finally, you said you want to open the link only once, for this you need onClick event, in that you need to disable the link, then when you close the popup you need to re-enable it.
