There is many ways and one of them is u can read the Gridview and store the values in string variable seperated by comma and then split it while saving.
Hope it helps u...

use this:
For intGridRowcnt = 1 To GridViewQuery.Rows.Count
ml_strValue = ml_strValue & GridView1.DataKeys(intGridRowcnt - 1).Item("ID").ToString() & "$"
ml_strValue = ml_strValue & gvClientInvoice.DataKeys(intGridRowcnt - 1).Item("Name").ToString()
ml_strValue = ml_strValue & "^"
Next
For saving in DB:
arrSplitRows = ClientInvoiceDetails.Split("^")
For i As Int16 = 0 To arrSplitRows.Length - 1
Dim strTemp As String = ""
strSql = ""
strTemp = arrSplitRows(i).ToString
arrSplitsRights = strTemp.Split("$")
'Your Query here.
Next
Hope it helps u???

Hello,
I'm developping a web site, using masterpages and content place holders. ContentPlaceHolders I put in the table.
The problem is that in IE the content is showed only in the small part of the COntentPlaceHolder, it is cut on the right and at the bottom.
In Firefox everything is fine, tables and PlaceHolders are automatically resized.
I tryed fixed, auto and percent values for tha table style.
Firefox
IE
Where can be the problem?
Thank you

<td style="height: auto; width: 700px; background: #d8e9d6" valign="top" align="left">

Excuse me, I don't really understand what do you mean

CSS is about seperating the style of a web page from its meaning. To make best use of it you should write semantic HTML that makes sense out of context (ie without any CSS styling). This is very hard to do with ASP.NET as the built in controls output rubbish HTML but it is possible if you ignore all the built-in styling crap that M$ thought so wisely to add. Table are meant for tabular data and should only be used as such, using them for layout is not best practice and very 'Web 0.5' - don't do it!
Check out the w3schools site for a good beginners introduction to this stuff.

well, almost all tutorials that I found in the net used tables tu put ContentPlaceHolders in. You propose to use divs or smth else?

I found the root of the problem - to fill my content pages, I use resource files. If I just fill the page in the VisualStudio, it works fine everywhere, but if I take data from a resource file it works nowhere but in Firefox

Hi All,
Is there any possible way to create an email attachments from an URL in C# application? I'm using frame work 2.0, System.Net.Mail component.
If I attach a file from my file system, that works fine. But I have to
call a http:// url which retruns a file name. I have to attach that
file to the email.
Can any one help me with this?
Thanks in Advance.

Do it internally.
Try to download it on the server.
Then try to attach.

If url is returning file names, then why you need to attach it. Just send the file link on mail.

True. That would save a bit of redundant data transfer on the network pipes.
