You can use SerialPort class or this library for communicating directly with Usb port: LibUsbDotNet[^]

Thanks for your prompt response.
Using the SerialPort class or the LibUsbDotNet works fine from the PC side, but not on the PDA. How do I read the USB info on a PDA using Windows Mobile?

Hey all,
you gave me a lot help to find a way.
But now a have a little problem with the types. When I want to make a new instance of my plugin, I get a Exepction: Type could not be converted to this type.
I made an interface named "IPluginInterface" and Implemented it into my plugin. Now I want to make a new instance of the plugin and cast it as "IPluginInterface" but then I got this exception.
Has someone an Idea?
Greetings,
Martin Müller

Uhhh, you wrote the code, so only you would know. Or did you copy'n'paste the code from somewhere else??
Did you write the code so you would require codecs to be used??
okkk, i just copy and paste.

Then you're going to have to ask the person who originally wrote the code.

To add on to the previous poster's point, you may want to do some basic checks. Is the sound muted? How high is the volume set? If you're using mciSendString to play the received sound, are you passing the correct query? Try using your method to play a sound file which already exists on the computer. If it plays, then you've malformed your Stream or decoded something wrong. If it doesn't play, then your problem lies with the playback method

i have checked all thing. i can hear ringing on my headphone but after receiving call, nothing is hearable. i thing one pc cant decode voice for sending to the server.

Hi,
What is the diffrent between threading and multi threading?
Is there any concept called single threading?
Thankyou
YPKI
Well, you can have a single thread running. This means you have 'some code' + a 'thread', with multithreading you have several threads running paralel to each other, like this: 'some code' + a 'thread' + a 'thread' etc.
So you can say single threading is just one thread.
hmmmm... multi threading is where more than one thread is used in an application. The main benifit of this would be to perform tasks while alowing other task to continue thier work at the same time.
A windows form application initially will run on one thread, commonly called the UIThread, all User Interaction with the application therefore runs on a single thread. In this case any tasks which may take more than a seconds or two to complete should be run on a seperate thread. This gives the UIThread the freedom to handle further User Interaction without seeming that the application has frozen.
So single threading is basically what you get as standard with any program that has not created any other threads within it.
Life goes very fast. Tomorrow, today is already yesterday.
When a piece of work is being carried using the default thread, then you want to do another piece of work but the first process is still running then you'll have to wait until the first process finishes so the compiler stack moves to the next process and that would be the case of a single threaded module. Unlike the single threaded designs, you can run more than one process simultaneously. You might wanna read about BackgroundWorker and maybe delegates as well.
All generalizations are wrong, including this one!

Hello All,
Can some one please tell me how to access the settings in gpedit.msc using c#.Net?
I need to set/reset various options from the gpedit.msc.
Thanks in advance.
Group Policy is just an editor for registry settings. GPEdit doesn't expose any kind of interface you can use in your own app. You just have to write code to manipulate the same registry settings gpedit does.
