If you want to load bmp files you can use of LoadImage but if you want to load other files like jpg you can use of CImage class and then use of a hbitmap for set it to controls.

doesn't you think, CImage required ample amount of code and inclusion of header file to make it work in vc++.. but i believe it is one of good class provided by MS for image handlling. i believe C# also use same interface!

Yeah CImage has a header file that it gives some memory but I guess maybe he will have problem on next for jpg files so I suggest this class however he can uses of GDI+.

Search for IPictureDisp if you like using COM and search for CEnBitmap class by Dan.G. here.. that would solve your purpose! i feel

So then just use Excel Automation.

It may not, but given that you wanted to read the file in it's native format, I know of no other solution.

Hi everybody,
in PreTranslateMessage i check if the Shift Key and the Control Key is also pressed
if the user hits a key.
If the key is hit with Shift+Control the message is send to the Control's Parent ( for example from
View to Tab-Control to View to Frame )
If i hit this combination 3 timer while the Shift+Control Key pressed all the time,
the check of Control and Shift pressed (GetKeyState(VK_SHIFT) < 0)
the first time both keys are pressed next time they aren't pressed, the 3rd time they are at new pressed.
It's seriously a KeyState behaviour which creates this sideeffect.
Has anyone an idea?
Big thanks

If you look in the control panel, I think there's an accessibility tab which governs this behaviour. From memory, if you press these keys repeatedly, they stay on. This is to help people who can only operate one key at a time. Disabled people, systems with no actually keyboard, etc.

iam not sure if there is any function to find the whole folder size at a time.
but using some functions, like findfirst and findnext, you can write a recursive function, which traverses the folder and its sub folders, sum the sizes of the files and return you the folder size.
lets see if any master suggests any thing.
gud luck.

No I don't want to call function recursivly. I don't want to go on that way. Is there no any function which gives me the direct size of the folder just like file.
Thanks..

Then you're doomed to fail.

He already told you no.

Windows do that itself also. try seeing property of Windows folder of your computer , you could see change in size rapidly!
