Wrong answer, but thanks for responding. I had to double-backslash the linefeed character to fix it.

That is what I call Quoting. The System.Web.UI.Util.QuoteJScriptString(String, Boolean) is a general purpose function that converts everything like tab characters and special unicode characters to JS friendly form.

This is often known as escaping, which comes from the use of the escape character (0x1b) in environments like DOS and with matrix printers.
Also the term encoding is sometimes used, as in the HtmlEncode and UrlEncode methods.

On Button Postback an Aspx Page runs the following onclick C# event handler:
{
// dr[“Content”] - DataRow Item type byte[] where is a song in mp3 format
ar = dr[“Content”];
Response.ContentType=“audio/mpeg”;
Response.Clear();
Response.BufferOutput = true;
Response.BinaryWrite(ar);
Response.Flush();
}
I received error in Response.Flush() – The remote host closed the connection.(HttpException).
Please help me,

I think you forgot the specify the length of your response. This should be equal to the size of the audio file you are sending to the client. Now the connection gets closed in the middle of the operation, because the client thinks he's done downloading the data and there's nothing left.

How can I set StreamOutput Lentgth ?, I think “al.length” was taken for “Response.Binary(al)” but maybe not. In debugger Response.OutputStream.Length is showing a SystemNotSupportedException.
Also “Response.OutputStream.Length” is readonly

Hello,
What datasource are you using for the grid? If you use a dataset paging should be supported, I'm unsure of the other sources, it sounds totally logical that IEnumerable sources don't support this kind of functionality.

1. Remove the * in the query. You are deleting records, not specific fields of records.
2. You have forgotten the apostrophes around the value you are comparing to the code field.

Are you sure? You are escaping the apostrophes in the value, is that something that you just do without knowing why, or can the value actually contain apostrophes? If it can, then you need to put apostrophes around the value.

Can't you check ContentLength property of input file ? I am guessing you should get this properrty before you upload ?
Else it is always a good idea to make use of page_error or Application_Error event to catch unknown errors.

Hmm, I think it would be even better to validate the size before even trying to upload the file. You can do this by adding a custom validator that checks the size of the file the user choose to upload with the maximum allowed size.
This provides the user with a more friendly way of saying: No, you can't upload this.

Hi,
Maximum upload size for a file is mentioned in machine.config
you can override the settings by mentining it in your project web.config
<httpRuntime executionTimeout="3600" maxRequestLength="100000"/>

Hi
I have the same problem. I spent a lot of time trying to fix this but without any success.
I added some bounded and template fields to detailsview, witch may caused the problem.
If you find a solution, can you please share it with me?
Thanks

No code exists in asp.net for printing.
You can make use of javascript though.Using window.print(); Calling which opens up print dialog.

You can use CSS or inline styles.
<li style="list-style-type: none">
That will suppress the dots.

Though this is probably more appropriate for the web development forum here is one option(s) to solve your question:
<ul style="list-style-type:none">
<li style="list-style-type:circle">bob</li>
<li>mike</li>
<li>sally</li>
</ul>
