If i break it, drown it, or lose it, i can get another one for less than the cost of one year of insurance / extended warrantee. It's also built like a brick, so in spite of numerous drops, crushes, and spills, it's working fine. I can and do toss two of them in one pocket before going for a ride, without misgivings as to whether either one will arrive worse for wear (although occasionally i do make some unintentional calls that way). To top it off, I've never had to replace or repair my Nokias, they're tough and I'm quite clumsy. Barring the occasional scratch, there's nothing wrong with them. There is also a "web text" (SMS) app. that uses up your free web text bundle (Irish only, not sure if American call plans include free web-texts.)
