Interesting reading the blogs here. I am 48 and cycle 60 - 120 miles a week. No, I don't work 12 hours a day and would not work anywhere like that. I work to live not live to work. I love programming and have a Masters in Engineering Science, Computer Scienc, but realized a few years ago, what good is that if my body goes to crap and I die. I am also a father of a 2 1/2 year old but make it a priority to stay in shape. I cycle for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program and have raised over 14k to fight cancer and completed my first century when I was 43 years old. Your body is important, take care of it and it will take care of you! Anywone interested in my website check out www.CyclingFoodmanPA.com. I also love to eat, which is why the cycling lets me eat what ever I want.

Every time I exercise, I start to sweat, my skin turns red, I get pain on my limbs, and my heart starts to run like there is no tomorrow... so I think I'm allergic. I just keep my distance from excercise, for that healthy reason...

I don't exercise to keep fit, but I play soccer and volleyball once a week and that seems to work for me

I do agree to some extent. Not to keep fit, but very much in order to keep healthy. I used to have some problems with my back so now I go swimming or go to the gym twice a week because it makes fun and it makes me feel better.

I run on first day of every three days, 50 minutes @11.5kph. Then strength on second day of my three days cycle. Then rest on third...

Does dog walking count? If so 2-3 walks a day!
Seems to keep me fit enough to carry my heavy laptop bag and chase my children around.

I just got my bike back from the shop, so it's all nice and clean and everything's aligned and libricated. I'm going out riding tomorrow morning.

I am not in some "easy" sport... I go every day, with a few exceptions, to the gym and try to become stronger
Instead of beeing fat, like most programmers, I am ... a big, fat guy with muscles
I hope you understand...because is a rough world out there...

Please tell me what is the use of function pointer. Why function pointers are there?

To allow access to the private members of the CListCtrl.

Function pointers function by pointing out that you need to function like a programmer that can point the browser to the proper forum when asking about function pointers.
Explain to the mothers & fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?" -- Sean Hannity, 1999.

Funtion Pointers are there bcos we can call any function dynamically whose address is stored in the pointer variable.

Hi
Well, function pointers do not make really any sense to me.coz the function pointers are used in the exact same way as the function it points to.example:
void *fp(int );//function pointer fp
void print(int a);//function to print sumthing
fp=&print;
to call print:
fp(5);
//function pointer fp is assigned address of print().Node the function print() is part of the "code segment" or the area of memory which contains code.Hence one now has access to that area of memory which contains code thus allowing one to modify the code to introduce bugs or viruses. I do not know how this can be done but i believe once u hav access to the location where the code is saved, there must be malicious ways to exploit that location of code.

A 21-inch gas-powered mulching mower. Pushing that sucker around for 1 hour 45 minutes must count for something. That was 5.5 bags of grass, for the back lawn, now to mow the front lawn today.

It's probably better than a riding mower.
Unfortunately, daily activities like that don't get you the benefit you'd like. Most folks, when they complete a strenuous job like that, they think "I deserve a reward; wasn't there some ice cream in the freezer?"
My favorite reward is Dutch Chocolate Almond .

I subsist on pizza, Mountain Dew, and Doritos, so I have to run or bike for at least an hour and a half daily just to break even on calories!!!
