i have copied an article to customize calender in asp.net from Customizing the ASP.NET Calendar Control[^]
this was a web application so there was a designer.cs page in it but mine is website so how to add
designer.cs page in it

there is a difference in a website and web application.
the project in which i am working is a website so how to add designer.cs in it

Dont copy and paste whole page, instead just copy code from it and paste in your page.

Solution 2

Be little smart and check, The article source code is in a Web Application[^] and the thing which you are creating is Website[^].
Check : MSDN : Web Application Projects versus Web Site Projects in Visual Studio[^].

I would suggest you, "Not to copy". Just try to understand that how it works. After understanding it properly, implement it in your project.
