In my webpage how to check internet explorer 8 popup block is enabled or not using javascript?Please don't post url.
Please reply asap.
i'm using this code please check and modify once.

this code is working in ie9 version and other browsers also.but i want check popup blocker in previous versions of internetexplorer.can any body help me.

You dont need to cehck it . IE shows a bar at the top of the browser saying that it has blocked a popup from this website.. Allow ....?

i searched already.After search only i post this question.I tried google code but it is showing message always same if i changed internet explorer popup settings also.that code is not working.

"that code is not working" is not a proper technical explanation of the problem. If somebody comes to you and says "that code is not working" , will you be able to understand his problem ?

no errors Amit.But it is not check if condition ,directly goes to else condition only.

So to test this javascript, first disable popup then check what happen and then enable. and you need to add conditoin for IE8 from here

There is a function(getInternetExplorerVersion) to get IE version in given link. you can check the version before testing your condition for popup. hope it make sence.

You do not need to assign version. what you need to do is just to check if your IE version is 8 then next if condition will check if popup is enabled and then you can process depending upon the result of if condition.

Really you need to learn javascript first. from this code there are couple of mistakes, getInternetExplorerVersion is return some value bu you have not used it in StartT. checkVersion function is never called. so there are so many issues with the code. i suggest you to understand the code instead of just dump it from the other site.
