So sad... I used to watch The Golden Girls re-runs with my mom, not to mention the funny characters she played all of these years. Just sad. Near depressing. At some point or another, she kinda touched all of our hearts. And this is a Gen Z kid talking here.

In the early part of her career she worked as an on-camera anchor at a local TV news program here in New Orleans. She was great then too. She will be missed by many I am sure.
