Any chess players in the Lounge? The World Champinships are on in NYC and things are heating up as the reigning champion (Carlsen) suffered a rather painful blow on Monday.
I was really rooting for Carlsen, but now I am just enjoying the ride. Plenty of good free live streams on Twitch and various chess sites. And good post-game summaries on the U-tube. Awesome stuff!

I'm looking at getting an Android phone that contains an ANT+ radio so I can connect it to my various wearables for cycling. I'm done with Garmin's overpriced and underspec'd efforts. Why spend $850 on a bike computer when I can spend $400 on a full computer that does way more and isn't tied to their awful UI.
It seems I'm stuck with either a Samsung Galaxy or Sony Xperia, or HTC Desire EYE. Any recommendations on any of these phones? They don't actually have to make phone calls: just the smallest possible, water proof, and be at least Android 6.
My inclination is to avoid Samsung like the plague. I've tried programming against various of their devices and I've had everything from things simply not working to the IDE (Tizen) causing my machine to bluescreen each tine it loads (how on earth can a compiler cause a blue screen??). The update mentality of Samsung also leaves something to be desired.

Never used it, but Google's Pixel is supposedly the number 1 phone for running Android.

I'm sure it is - but AFAIK it doesn't support ANT+ out of the box. That's kinda the most important thing I need (after a screen, of course)

Be sure to take a close look at the specs, most carriers have any AM/FM receiver capability removed or disabled to push consumers to streaming media over their network so they can charge them for it.
