Just curious...
Has anyone actually gotten Xamarin Forms to work in Visual Studio?
I've tried installing it on 3 different PC's - Home, Company 1, and now Company 2 ... and in each case it's a nightmare getting it installed.
Then, when it appears to be installed, I get countless compilation errors that say "Please install.... blah blah blah".
So, anyone here actually have it working?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.

Are you still having problems getting it to work? Xamarin Forms still works fine on my system (I must get back to learning how to use it...  )

I started at a new company Monday. I manually installed[^] the Android and Java components and they seemed to install OK.
Then I went into VS2015 and was prompted to update Xamarin, which I did.
Lastly I followed this example[^], and upon build/deploy got all the "Please install..." errors.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.
