Just watched that video. It is a bit scary that a dog would just come out of no where and attack that little boy. Luckily that cat was there. That cat didn't even hesitate at all.

In this case it is! 
I read an article about that video and the mother stated that the cat used to sleep with the boy since he was very small. So it seems there was a very close bond at an early age.

I used to say that about my favorite ex-wife too.
There are a few feral cats that come around my house from time to time. Most run when my dog chases them, except one who just hunches down and stares at him. He knows better than go after her.

We have a black cat that's been coming around lately and when it does all 4 of our cats line up against the sliding door and there tails go like crazy, sometimes they hunch up when it gets close and pace. It's funny to watch!

Don't like the idea being watched and recorded by people. This is bad. Same thing with smart phones, camera's etc.
Respect peoples privacy so they can stay in control of their own live.

Interesting idea and one that, eventually, will be ubiquitous. I just don't think they have nailed it yet.
Further: imagine sitting talking to someone and having them constantly looking down at the floor. That's what talking to a Glass wearer is like. That, and the weird nervous head-tilt tick they have when constantly waking up the display.

Grew up in Northern Ontario watching the Habs in English or French, but it always the Habs.
Didn't see the final score until I got up this morning.
And even living in South Carolina, I still have a Habs 1986 Stanley Cup winners cup on my desk.

I'd have to go for the Bruins. They were the very first hockey game I ever saw - in Boston against the Edmonton Oilers. I even think Gretzky was skating. I had no idea what icing was, and to the amazement of the people I was with - when the Zamboni came out, I blurted, "What's that?"

RIP Pushkin[^]
July 2005 - May 14, 2014.
He was the most amazing cat. 9 years was too short. He was doing fine, no health problems, and tonight, as he was looking out the window, he fell out of the chair having a seizure. He died in my arms a couple minutes later.
We will miss him.
