The debug data must flow,
Heigh-ho the merry-O,
A-gathering we will go!
The inbox has bug reports from labs spread around the building. All of them included some debug data, just not all of it, so I'm getting my steps in this morning. I'm planning on running four miles at lunch.
Please make allowances; it's Friday before what is going to be a strenuous weekend and I haven't even had my first cup of yet.

Confession time: At the start of the pandemic when I was working from home, the running and cycling came to a screeching halt. I started exercising again last December (elliptical machine) and running in early March. It's been a little rough but it's become a habit again. I feel like I've gotten a part of my self back.Jeremy Falcon wrote: I'm soooooooo out of shape, like really. Hey, you've been there before. You know what you need to do, and when you're ready you'll get back to it.

I got a robo call, nobody speaks when I answer. I'm bored so I decided to call the number back after hanging up on the robot. Some dude answered, denies it was a robo call (lying I'm sure), and then this starts...
Me: Nobody appreciates unsolicited calls these days.
Telemarketer: This isn't an unsolicited call.
It was. They were trying to offer me a "loan" which I'm sure is a scam.
Me: Why you are arguing with me dude?
Telemarketer: Gets angry... I'm not arguing with you.
Few rounds of blah blah blah.
Me: Have a nice day. Good bye. Hang up on him while he's going off.
For the life of me, I can't understand why people do this. Do folks actually fall for this crap? Especially when home dude needs to pull the stick out?

In some places this is a type of scam as because when you answer they hang up. If you ring back the number you can be charged excessive call costs and hence how they make there money.

I get 10 to 15 calls a week in my spanish number, not really a scam just telemarketing trying to sell me something (mostly another contract for the cell phone)
I have already told several times, they should please stop, but they do not even know where they are calling, the pc does the call for them.
And the a$$holes have a range of phone numbers that change from time to time, so blocking the numbers brings not so much.
I whish all the people could get out, but their call centers burn down to ashes.

Nelek wrote: so blocking the numbers brings not so much. Yeah, the default phone app on my Android is limited to blocking 500 specific numbers. Once that filled up, I ended up just writing a little "blocking" app that blocks whole ranges of numbers. It's very effective. I may get one odd call every other month now.
