In Word, you can use Ctrl-Shift-C and Ctrl-Shift-V to copy and paste the formatting only. Quite useful since Word's styles are so useless now days.

On MS Word, to get "Paste unformatted" you have to use Ctrl+Alt+V or right-click+T. Maybe some historical reason to do it differently?
I frequently use Ctrl+Shift+V in LibreOffice Writer on Ubuntu. Works a treat!

This feels like one of the most useful things I've learned in years. Never again will I have to paste something into Notepad then copy it out again. Thank you!

Just saw this on a website, clarifying their Price Protection Policy...
Quote: Protection against arbitrary price increases only. Does not apply to inflation, extraordinary world events, currency devaluation, etc. Does not apply to add-ons given as a free gift/bonus.

Hmmm, I would think price changes due to inflation, extraordinary world events, currency devaluation, etc. are essentially arbitrary as well.

A stable price is not that bad, it's the smell that turns me away.

unfortunately, as ancient Greeks found, the problem of squaring the circle is NP-Hard [^].Quote: The popularity of the problem continued and there are many amusing stories told by De Morgan on this topic in his book Budget of Paradoxes which was edited and published by his wife in 1872, the year after his death. De Morgan suggests that St Vitus be made the patron saint of circle-squarers. This is a reference to St Vitus' dance, a wild leaping dance in which people screamed and shouted and which led to a kind of mass hysteria. De Morgan also suggested the term 'morbus cyclometricus' as being the 'circle squaring disease'.
