I can see why they would. I'm glad my CU doesn't. Instead they check in with us via phone before authorizing the payment. I find it convenient as far as security measures go.

These days, almost two hundred thousand Ukrainians trespassed the Ukrainian-Polish border in Lviv, Ukraine, aiming to save their lives, due to the Russian military occupation threat. Awful.

It bothers a bunch of us, especially those of us who lived through the Cold War; I spent my career designing and programming products to end that, then had my career destroyed by the end of it. But this is not the place; this is where good programmers and engineers come to learn how to do their jobs or hobbies better. We are a community devoted to helping each other to become better at what we do; we're not here to change the world. There are other forums for that, lots of them. Please do join them, and support them; this is an existential issue that should concern all of us. But not here...
By the way, don't believe the lamestream media reports on the Trucker Convoy in the US. I was there, freezing my butt off, at their first stop after setting off from the Peoples' Republic of California. The media reported a couple dozen trucks; I lost count at somewhere around 70, and they just kept coming. At that time, the convoy was 8 miles long; today it was reported to be 27 miles long. Our fearless leader is, of course, hiding in his basement, as usual. There's a lot of coverage out there about the Ukraine situation; please do keep in touch with this. But this is not the place for it, unless you have a software fix that can make it better.
Good Lord, I'd love to see a SaveUkraine patch in my Windows Update display...
Will Rogers never met me.

Thank you very much for remembering us. I've got no idea about @BohdanStupak, but I'm just positive and alive, right at the moment. Although, God knows what will happen in a couple of days, later on.
Anyway, please don't be in worry about us and that military conflict in Ukraine. I hope, most of us will *NOT* be hurt by the war, and everything will be just fine and will get back to normal, finally, after its end.
Thanks a lot for your post.

Thank you very much for your feedback and your positive words. Nevertheless I'm worried about the situation of the people who have to live in that desaster.
All the best for you all ![Rose | [Rose]](https://codeproject.global.ssl.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/rose.gif)

By the way, do you know that there're two more members from Ukraine: Volodymyr Zakalyk @Deohayer and Sergii Syrovatchenko @sergiisyrovatchenko from the city of Kharkiv. Did you try to contact them, as well?
Also, JFYI, the war conflict is getting closer to the west of Ukraine, and the situation becomes even more serious, though. That's why, a few days ago, I replied to you that I'm just normal so far, but not knowing what will be later.
Anyway, I'll inform you about that later on, if something cruel would have happened.

Hello, I only 'know' you both, triggered by your articles, therefore I contacted only you both.
It breaks my heart and mind to be safe here knowing someone is in danger just beside me

Thanks for your reply. I just wanted to inform you that there are more than two members located in Ukraine. ![Rose | [Rose]](https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/rose.gif)

Once again, please don't treat my reply post as overly optimistic, since, I'm okay, though, for sure, and believe that anyway, this war will come to an end.
Also, if you'd like to get any news from Ukraine at war, please just feel free to let me know about it in your ongoing reply posts to this thread.

Also, I'm presently focused on my studies and article writing, as always, not paying too much attention and not worrying so much about this terrible time and what's going on out there.
The same I would recommend to everyone in this area and the rest of the world.

There're so many news channels about Ukraine online. However, many of them are in Russian or Ukrainian. That's why I suggested bbc.com as the most interesting news channel about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, in English.
Although, there might be other news of your choice or any other non-English news translated with Google Translate, such as that I've previously posted.

Another nuclear threat in Ukraine - Hours ago, the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia was assaulted by Russian armed forces.
Horror!!!

Hi, there. Finally, I'm wondering if you could contact @BohdanStupak? If not, still don't worry because he probably resettled somewhere else from Kyiv, until the war situation ended. I tried to contact him as well, by sending him a message on LinkedIn, but still haven't got his response.
