So, apparently FedEx stopped delivering for Amazon sometime in 2019, from what I can tell on the internet. I have not been receiving consistent deliveries from the USPS.
Interestingly, FedEx delivered one of my Amazon packages yesterday, and I just received a text telling me that FedEx will be delivering another Amazon package for me today. -- both of which are not the usual USPS delivery - thank goodness.
I am assuming that my package delivery nightmare is being felt by many in the United States and hopefully Amazon is not using the USPS anymore for their package delivery, but rather FedEx and UPS.
A quick search did not return any results indicating that Amazon had signed a contract with FedEx but I am assuming they did, since they are making deliveries now for Amazon.

I just received a notification from FedEx this morning that one of my packages will be arriving tonight. So it would appear so.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

This is interesting because last week I noticed that my normal pet food order from Amazon was delivered by FedEx that has not happened in the past -- it was always official Amazon, UPS or USPS - never FedEx.

FedEx has been the primary carrier for my workplace's Amazon deliveries for the last two years or so. As far as I know, it's up to the shipper who the carrier is.

Amazon's gone multi-carrier. For bigger cities they're running their own service, outside that I think they're doing whoever is cheapest since I've gotten deliveries using multiple services since the USPS contract ended.

When did it end? I was receiving packages from USPS last week. Only this week started with FedEx.
Interesting.

2020 I think they stopped using it exclusively. Not sure since I'm in an area that Amazon doesn't operate their own delivery service and they still used USPS locally for everything until sometime last summer.

Where I live Amazon delivers their own packages. I suspect what you're seeing is the USPS using FedEx as a sub-contractor. Amazon ships with USPS and then USPS contracts with FedEx for overflow deliveries.

Probably against all the rules and expectations, but confusing enough to make it fun...
I'm doing it now with unencrypted FTP. (3 or 5 7 7 or 7 9 4)

You are 'Doing a CCC' right now.
The only thing that comes to mind is the FTP command CCC[^]. Which has a long name of 'Clear Command Channel' which just so happens to have a length of 5,7,7
I hope I'm wrong.
