So I wanted to print a lot of personalised labels. Set up the mail merge (using an Excel file for the data) and hit print. Then I remembered what happened last time I did this ...
(I should point out that I had to select the "Edit individual pages" option as there were a couple of funnies to sort out before printing e.g. one name was too long to fit the label so just needed to tweak it.)
So, I then get the "Some of your margins are very small. Would you like to carry on?" message. However, it then generated this for every page and I had to sit there clicking "Yes" 85 times before it would print.
Hrmmpphhhh.

I have not had to do this, thankfully, for over 5 years now, if not more. After reading your post, it brought back fond memories of mail merge labels and envelops...not.

In 2018, thanks to the serendipitous presence of a colleague raving about ReactJs and React.Net, I discovered about IObservable.
I toyed with them and thought they might bring improvement to event handling...
Many years passed, not doing much, and now I am back on my pet long term take over the world home project.
And man, using IObservable and IAsyncEnumerable makes event handling, such as mouse dragging or even, how about get click count then continue on dragging hey? A breeze of fresh air. The code just look just as easy in C# as it would look in plain English. No state variable and multiple call back.. it's just all linear as you would say it! I am loving it!
I am kind of surprised to be in the select in known group. Shouldn't the cat be out the bag by now?
I guess nobody does desktop UI anymore these days... 
Oh well, I keep at it in my secret basement lair, which happens to be on the first floor!
I just need a bit more energy to shake myself up, old age and woes and all that jazz...

My Host (which is not GoDaddy) has just migrated us from cPanel to DirectAdmin
My new problem is E-Mail Forwarders.
I use them extensively to thwart degenerate spam (with very good results).
At this moment, I can't make sense of what DirectAdmin is doing with E-Mail Forwarders.
I looked for some video tutorials on this.
Everything I found was six years old with a user interface that is not what I have on my screen.
(Google does it again; oh well, at least it's consistent nowadays)
Anybody who can point me to an actual video tutorial that matches what I see on my screen will receive 37 quintillion tons of gold.

It's not that I don't trust C-P-User-3, it's just my standard procedure for new customers.

I have been with GoDaddy for a zillion years
I am no longer able to speak to a living human there.
I am now losing domains (and yes, I know it's my responsibility; that's why I used GoDaddy, who had living humans [who, in the past, would] call me and speak to me and prevent those losses).
Godaddy has eliminated those humans.
Any attempt to initiate a spoken voice conversation with GoDaddy produces wait times of 38 minutes and 70 minutes (the actual numbers from my last two calls).
The only other place of which I am aware is NameCheap.
I am learning to forget google; the results were, well, not what I call answers.
That's why I'm now asking here.
Private or public responses here are fine.
Questions
- What other registrars are out there besides NameCheap ?
- Can you honestly get a living speaking human at NameCheap ? I just spent three minutes at their website and couldn't find a phone number; the closest thing I found was "Live Chat"
Does anyone have any experience with other registrars ?
Or is this the new business model: Pay money, never speak to a human.

I've been using qth.com for several years. This might not be the answer for large corporations but the owner is a HAM radio enthusiast and has always been very responsive to any issues. They are also good about sending out several warning emails if your name registration, hosting, etc., is close to expiration.

Troy Hunt recommended DNSimple back in 2014[^], but I've never used them, so I've no idea if they're still good.

I use Joker. German company. A little more $ but they have always provided support via email. Never looked to see if I could call them. They remind me of needed renewals well in advance.

I use Sectorlink and never had a problem. Not sure how easy it is to get a human on the phone though.

I've used 123-reg.co.uk in the past, it's all online, but you do get emails to let you know there is an expiry approaching.
You don't have to be mad to live here [UK], but it helps.

I've been using a (local ) ZA company called Frikkadel Portal Home - Frikkadel.co.za[^] for most of my domains, as they are friendly etc. and mostly cheaper than the rest - okay, never needed to call, but the support had been great thus far!
OF domains they don't have/support, I've been using ovh.ie ... except the .ga domain I have going through another freenom registrar.. but that's a play domain for me  =)
