As you're no doubt aware, Agile is a manifesto. It's not a methodology, it's just the following principles.
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools

Working software over comprehensive documentation

Customer collaboration over contract negotiation

Responding to change over following a plan
That's it - it's pretty simple. The whole idea revolves around the idea that you are meant to be delivering software that people can use so you shouldn't be forced to jump through documentation hoops to get there. At it's heart, Agile can be condensed into the idea that you deliver early and you deliver often. In other words, develop your applications in such away that you're at most 6 weeks or so away from a deployable, tested version. Don't worry about polishing the application at first; get the basics and the areas that will give you the most benefit in place first, and add more and more to it as you go on. Interestingly enough, when we hear about teams focusing on stand ups then this is a situation where the very first principle is being violated. (Oh, and despite what people think, agile development does not mean there should be no documentation - there's always going to be a place for it).
