I was going to say to another Peter that I didn't mention the brand name because it would have given things away too easily. But to my mind IBM pretty much "owned" the term PC in those days.

I have two reasons not to post (and nothing personal)

OK, it's not bad, but it has a few flaws.
The "speeding" indicator is visual, not audio - which is a pain. In Here WeGo, you can set how much over the limit you will allow, and when you reach it, it gives you three "bongs" to let you know. In traffic, that means you don't have to keep one eye on speed limits, one on the speedo, and open your third eye for monitoring traffic; you can just watch the cars and keep up with them, hearing a "slow down" warning instead. You get used to it really fast, and it's a big help.
The voice directions are clear, as are the displayed ones - but the voice is a little "muddy" and if you select the "Loud" option all that appears to happen is she develops a serious lisp making it much harder to hear.
The HUD mode is nice to see, and probably works well at night - but it doesn't work even when overcast in my car - there is nowhere I can put the phone and angle it for the reflection is clearly visible.
The traffic / holdup support looks pretty good!
It doesn't appear to support What Three Words, which is a pain, but not a deal breaker (Maps does, Here WeGo doesn't seem to)
Do I like it? A qualified yes. A bit of work on the voice, and adding audio to the speed warnings and it would be a "YES!"

Is there an option to change the voice in which directions are given? Waze does, for example, and my wife & I have different settings on our phones.

When we first moved here The Maybury was a dump, ruled over by a miserable little weasel of a publican and his cronies. I think the brewery eventually got fed up with his lack of profit and kicked him out. Various people then tried their hand but never quite managed to get it going. Then some years ago it was bought by Mitchell & Butlers (AFAIR), rebuilt, renamed The Inn at Maybury Pub & Restaurant in Woking, Surrey[^], turned into a gastropub, and is doing quite well. A two minute walk from home.
