It always amazes me how music moves people in different ways. This was definitely not my cup of tea, but yet, it impacts you so much at an emotional level. I love that about music.
Some of Neil Diamond's older songs move me to tears. Not so much that the music itself makes me cry but the memory of my mother playing these songs when I was very young gets me emotional at times.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. John Darnielle is grand. Try listening to a few of his albums on youtube - like Tallahassee or Devil in the Shortwave (which has "Genesis 19:1-2" in it, one of my favorites of his). He's the type that evolves as he releases albums.

Howdy, Mike! Hope you and your family are safe and well.
Because I don't respond to political posts, they stopped appearing on my feed. I now mostly only see posts from family and friends and the odd advertisement for Microsoft Azure. Clearly, FB doesn't know I'm already a subscriber.

Agreed, slowly unfriended those that posted political crap, but it seemed to be everywhere after a while.
