There is a story behind this actually. You're probably not really going to care about it, but since you asked..
Sometimes people post that clip of Adam Hills doing his "Dutch accent". I always thought it just made no sense, he just doesn't know what he's doing or something. Then I heard that sh-thing elsewhere too, but I still didn't think too much of it, just a random weird thing that people do, maybe imitating each others fake Dutch accents instead of actual Dutch accents. But then I recently learned about that retracted-S thing, actually in the context of ancient Greek and Latin (original pronunciation, not liturgical), and it all clicked. I had to post, because people are wrong on the internet, and I won't let that stand.

Racoons tore up part of the fence, and now the chickens were getting out. The neighbors probably had a riot watching me pluck them one by one from their yard - several times until I figured out where they were getting out.
I've patched it but I'm still concerned. Now that they've tasted freedom (which apparently tastes like the clover patches in the neighbor's yard) they've gotten more clever than I would have given them credit for.

My neighbors let their chickens out to act as organic pest killers in their yard. When she wants them back in the coop she just shakes the food bucket and they follow her right back into the coop to get fed.

I don't need them wandering. We live in a duplex that we own, but we rent the other half to a couple and we share the backyard. I don't know that they'd mind chickens pooping all over their back lawn, but I haven't asked, so I'd rather not let them just run loose.
