Thanks ! That probably explains why VS 16.10 has been suddenly going catatonic on me, not responding to kb or mouse.

Interesting, I have yet to try using any of the MS previews without experiencing such bugginess and limited functionality I was left nauseous until I quickly deleted their bloated code

I read a few month ago they got every ting working I reckon...
Just for fun I created a new WinForm project (using .NET5) and it had a designer that jog some memory and it ran fine...
I can't say more with great certainty, I am more of a WPF/WinUI/Xaml person these days!
