As I understood the article, it was printed with thread derived from human* (fat cells) tissue that was convertible to stem cells - and thus - although not a natural heart, it would if fully successful be actually incorporated into the body and I presume not require a lifetime of anti-rejection drugs. Like the framework used to produce replacement gall bladders using stem cells - but no framework required and allowing far more complex shapes
You have emphasized in your interpretation the "Artificial" - describing the nature of the product when it is the method that is being emphasized. If they left out 'Artificial", someone else would complain that it isn't a heart - just a copy.

I've been through no end of cathedrals, castles, other grand edifices, and by far the most interesting ones were classed as "ruins".

Brilliant example, but there are "fallen" castles, etc. all over the UK that are an absolute joy to explore.
Your imagination, when going through such places, is worth so much more than the drivel that tour guides spout.
Put yourself in the place of someone a hundred years from now, visiting La Dame.
Pristine and in perfect condition? "Yeah, lovely."
Fallen, with sections still perfect, but incomplete? "Oh, Wow!"

There used to be a youth hostel in Wales that was an old castle, still in working condition with limited amenities. I remember walking the halls where I had to turn sideways and the floor had humps in it high enough to trip over. It did not take much of an imagination to visualise the life style of those days. Romantic - NOT -
